Camp Life ~ Awards
The following awards are given each week at camp:
- Mr. Camp Inagehi (senior camper)
- Miss Camp Inagehi (senior camper)
- Mr. Junior Camp Inagehi
- Miss Junior Camp Inagehi
- Best Senior Bible Student
- Best Junior Bible Student
- Camper of the Week (one for each cabin)
In addition, there are many ribbons that are given to reward success at such activities as swimming and diving, ballfield activities, best skits, etc. Ribbons are given for everything from fastest swimmer to silliest diver in each division. Many of the activities are designed so that not only the most athletic children have the advantage (ever tried the "shoe kick"?). Awards night is typically Friday night and is always a very special time at camp, as we honor the campers.
Please note that the specific awards may vary from week to week, as each staff is responsible for coordinating them. However, the "big" awards (listed above) are given each week.
