Thank You Friends of Camp Inagehi

Dear Friends of Camp Inagehi,

Thanks to the support of many, we are able to reflect on a successful year at Camp Inagehi. Once again, the Sojourners encouraged us by helping prepare the camp facilities for our summer season. Thank you Sojourners!

Thanks to the hard work of our camp Directors and their staff members, we served 595 campers in our regular weeks of camp this year. The Wings of Hope ministry utilized our facility this past summer for a week of camp as well. Thank you to everyone involved in making our weeks of camp successful in 2005.

After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in late August, some associated with Camp Inagehi wanted to use the camp as a resource to provide shelter to those in need. We were amazed by the willingness of so many from local congregations to help prepare the camp, and by the donations of needed items. We were able to make the camp available to many as a temporary home until they made other arrangements. Much of what was donated to help hurricane victims later became a needed windfall for the Raintree Village Children's Home. Thank you to everyone involved in this good work.

As always we ask for your continued prayers and support for the upcoming year. We want to continue to teach Christ and positively affect the lives of young people at Camp Inagehi. Won t you help us bring one more to Christ in 2006? Come visit us at our Dwelling In The Wilderness.

In Christian Love,
Johnny McDaniel
President, Camp Inagehi
