The Start of the 2006 Season

Hello Friends of Camp Inagehi,

We are into the 2006 season and are finishing the first week of camp. Weather has been wonderful to us this week.

Our building project is still progressing, a little slower because we are still relying on volunteers and financial donations to complete the final stages of new facility. Douglas County has zoned us commercial so that places more "Codes" on us which also requires more money, time and inspections. I am looking forward to the day we can have the Ribbon Cutting!

Raintree Village has chosen us Camp Inagehi this summer for their children. We have been blessed to have Clarence and Lorraine Briscoe, houseparents, and four children here this week. They have all thoroughly enjoyed being here. The two children came free since the parents were on staff and one of the area congregations financed two scholarships for the other two children.

Announcement for your congregation:
The Briscoe's will be attending the 3rd week, bringing the other 20 children from Raintree Village. We are asking anyone who can sponsor a child for a week of camp to send a Tax Deductible donation of $140.00 to the following address.

Camp Inagehi, c/o Jeff York
PMB #408
3162 Johnson Ferry Rd., Suite 260
Marietta, GA 30062

Thank you for your help with this and/ or a contribution to our building fund.

For the children,
Pat
